I thought it would be appropriate perhaps to put up a few pictures of my project the RustyRS.
Ok so it is meant to be white, yes white the primary colour, not brown as the rust and all shows through.
Owned this for approximately three weeks, or is it four....seems to run nicely and I have a long way to go I think but that said it is what it is.
PICS to come....???? Ok how do I upload a picture?

Currently car is at the paint shop after the Pres towed it up there for me, he's a nice chap. So just waiting for the guy to get started. Paint it WHITE again. I think that does it justice...but I would love Midnight.....
Engine also ripped out and getting the head done, new stems and valves and a new cam but nothing fancy want it to be reliable and fun, so more money down the toilet perhaps....
Hopefully mid to late June it starts coming back together before the sunroof goes back in, then to drive, drive, drive....and then drive some more. But not in the wet.
Still awaiting paint to start....any day now....and by that I mean any day this month or next.
Bought some new rims in the UK and a 4 spoke steering wheel. So slowly getting there.
Currently engine in pieces to go to get head done and convert for unleaded. Well that's the plan update. No photo's as no car......
Well after $2,500 the "Crash Repairer" has now shut down his business. Thanks to How soon Services for retrieving the vehicle from this guy.
Well now to look for a real crash repairer....
As you can see not many people can say they have been to the crash repairers and got their car back in worse condition. But I can.
Mate just read your post ..That SUX big time ..did u get any body work or rust repaired for your 2500 ? ..don't let it get you down at least you still have your car !,, I have a tc which had been at the paint shop since June and it has been there before for 6 months for rust and primer work ,, hopefully get it back after x mas .. Hope you find someone to help u out ... Can't rush these panel beaters
It will drive me to get this thing done if it kills me...I might look now at what I can achieve in the months to come with the interior and the like.
The new crash repairer can take it in in Feb then another 6 months...Small Ford Show 2016 here I come....well at lest I hope so....
So a few months have passed with the car now being at the crash shop for about 6 weeks. So you ask has this crash repairer done ANYTHING not like the other lazy phuker....oh is that allowed? Sorry Admin
So please see the photo's below and thanks to a mate recommending a mate the car is progressing and actually in 6 weeks more than the other bloke did in 6 months.
Anyway's Dennis at the crash shop has been good...I popped in before Easter and he had been distracted by the lure of daily driver insurance money...but he has progressed.
Rear boot wheel well, rust removed and replaced with steel...yes proper stuff.
Front passenger floor rotted and replaced with steel...nose cone bracket mounting point rusted through now repaired with....steel...I think you guessed that. C Pillar dug out and again some more steel....heater bubble...you know when you drop an email to the crash shop and they come back with "why don't you pop in I have something to show you...." is mentioned and seeing the last w anchors work my heart rate tops 300bpm... but it was all good, showed me the problem. See photo Tim to compare and Dennis goes its ok I'm gunna do this....well all is good and although still there a lot of positive steps and progress being made...I may even get it back in the not too distant future...
Happy RS Days ahead.
PS Thanks Steve (the Austin 1800 "SuperBeast" driver) for the crashie tip...so far so good.
Well we are about to go PRIME TIME.....wish me and the car luck.
And cross your toes too.
As of Saturday 120915 more rubbing to do but .... getting there.
